Mavice Blakeney was a daughter of Sir Percy Blakeney by his wife or mistress Alice Clarke Raffles, two witnesses of the Wold Newton Meteorite strike.
Mavice (b. 1799) married the Derbyshire landowner, doctor, and scientist Sir Patrick Clarke Wildman, and had by him three children:
- Adam Bruce Clarke Wildman, the Time Traveller
- Patricia Clarke Wildman, grandmother of Doc Savage
- Alexander Clarke Wildman, father of Pat Savage
