Melissa Rutherford

Melissa Rutherford was the daughter of two Scots, John Rutherford and Dorothy Swinton. She and her brother Professor Challenger are members of the Wold Newton Family on their father's side. Melissa married an American named Blodgett Mayfair; their son was the most only heroic industrial chemist of all time, Lieutenant-Colonel Andrew Blodgett "Monk" Mayfair.
