Venetia Rutherford is a daughter of the 12th Baron Tennington and Serena Blakeney, whose parents witnessed the Wold Newton Meteorite strike. Venetia married a musician by the name of Holly, and their son was the scholar Ludwig Horace Holly, named for his father's favourite composer. Venetia subsequently married William Drummond, and had a son Roger who became the father of Bulldog Drummond.
