Wanda Fogg was the much-married daughter of Roxana Fogg; her final husband was a criminal who called himself William Blake II (he claimed to be the poet's grandson). They fled the British police to America, where they disappeared, leaving behind an orphaned son, the ten year-old (and deeply sinister) Robert Harrison Blake.

The Blake family are described by Philip José Farmer in Doc Savage: His Apocalyptic Life.
